From 26th to 28th of October Guadalajara (Mexico) will host the first IEEE International Smart Cities Conference, the premier annual conference, sponsored by the IEEE Smart Cities Steering Committee. This year’s theme is going to be „Sustainability“ and the conference will teach all interested participants about the cities that promote and prioritize the use of information and sensing technology, citizen engagement, quality of life, manufacturing efficiency, economic development, and environmental sustainability.
In Guadalajara, WeLive project will be represented by Trento. Trento will describe it's smart strategies describing the running projects, with particular emphasis on project WeLive. The addition of Trento to the IEEE Smart Cities Initiative in 2014 was a step further towards the goal of establishing a group of diverse cities around the world to serve as examples for many other municipalities that have similar evolution objectives.
