Presenting WeLive in Novi Sad: Workshop “Smart Cities – activities and opportunities“, Horizon 2020
On Monday, december 7th, Srđan Krčo from DunavNET Novi Sad – our partner on the project, we'll be having a presentation on the smart city projects that are currently active in Novi Sad.
The workshop: „Smart Cities – activities and opportunities“ will be a a perfect occasion for presentation of the WeLive project and it's aims in general.
Dr. Diego López-de-Ipiña gave a talk on the topic "WeLive: citizens who design" at "Cities Fab Lab workshop: designing the city" at University of Deusto (Bilbao) on 25 November.

Jorge Pérez Velasco (TECNALIA) participated on 13th November 2015 at the "InfoDay about Societal Challenge 6: Europe in a changing world - Inclusive, innovative and reflective societies" (ruvid.org) organised at Politecnic University of Valencia. He gave a talk on the topic: "Recommendations and best practices to prepare a winning proposal" highlighting WeLive project as a good exemplary case.
The presentation given aimed to share the approach followed when preparing WeLive proposal.
Dr Diego López-de-Ipiña from our project partner's organization UDEUSTO on November, 4th 2015 participated at Work session on Advanced Interaction and Smart Cities organized at School of Informatics (Escuela Superior de Informática, Ciudad Real).
I-CiTies 2015 - CINI Annual Workshop on ICT for Smart Cities & Communities
Making cities and communities smarter is a very relevant goal, but also an extremely complex process that involves several actors and poses a number of challenges in different fields.
The 4th edition of the National Festival of Professions, whose title is #professionistacittadino (Professional Citizen) is beingheld in Trento from 13th till 17th of October.
The 2015 edition of the Festival follows the path initiated three years ago and intends to demonstrate the role of professions and professionals in the social, political and economic national system.
From 26th to 28th of October Guadalajara (Mexico) will host the first IEEE International Smart Cities Conference, the premier annual conference, sponsored by the IEEE Smart Cities Steering Committee.
This months, from September 23rd till September 25th, the Second quarter meeting of WeLive partners from Spain, Italy, Serbia and Finland was held in Palermo, Italy.
The topics that were discussed are mostly technical and related to the pilot project progress in each participant-country. Many topics on the agenda were trated and reviewed, and what is most important – some of the components of the WeLive Framework are ready to be tested and published.
The next partners' meet-up is to be held in Finland during the month of December.
