Dr Diego López-de-Ipiña from our project partner's organization UDEUSTO on November, 4th 2015 participated at Work session on Advanced Interaction and Smart Cities organized at School of Informatics (Escuela Superior de Informática, Ciudad Real).
López-de-Ipiña gave a talk about how Internet of Things (IoT), web of data and citizen participation can create smarter cities.
In this work session the WeLive Project was presented as a good exemplary case on how the combination of Open Data and User-generated Data can give place to innovative public services and apps that facilitate the interactions of different city stakeholders, e.g. citizens, companies and the public administration itself, with a given city and its administration.
